The Flash Season 5: 4 Ups & 1 Down From 'Seeing Red'

Ups...

4. Catching Up With The West-Allens

The Flash Season 5 West-Allens
The CW

‘Seeing Red’ wasted no time whatsoever in getting to the important stuff as Cicada’s resurgence led to an all-out assault from Team Flash. But the villain’s attack on Nora left the character temporarily paralyzed and, quite frankly, changed the direction of the episode entirely. However, it also paved the way for one thing that we have seen very little of as of late: West-Allen family time.

While Nora has been front and centre in almost every episode of the season so far, it’s been a while since she had some quality time with her parents and, after her injury, this episode was full of it. From tearful comforting at her bedside to heart-warming family hugs in Barry and Iris’ apartment, this episode was a non-stop reminder of just how integral the West-Allens family is to the show.

Additionally, the more genuine moments that this family shares together makes us all the more intrigued to figure out just what Nora is up to and await to see how her parents will react when they discover the truth.
