The Flash Season 6 (Part 2): 5 Theories On The Identity Of The New Big Bad
1. Godspeed
Perhaps the most interesting possibility of them all, Godspeed is the other of The Flash's most iconic villains not to be done justice on the show. However, the introduction of Black Hole might just be paving the way for him to ascend to this season's new Big Bad.
Originally a faux speedster in Nora West-Allen's deleted timeline, the character seemingly returned in the present at the beginning of the season. However, it was revealed that this was nothing more than a speechless copy - the fourth to be exact - apparently sent back from the future by the real Godspeed (August Heart) to toy with Team Flash. Now, call this writer crazy, but that's a very specific plot thread to throw in and, as it hasn't been referenced since, it's bound to crop back up at some point. And that, friends, is where Black Hole comes in.
As we already mentioned, the Black Hole of the comics tapped into the Speed Force and created the speed storm that gave August Heart his speedster powers. Now, with a Speed Force-centric episode upon us, it's looking very likely that the two forces could collide on the show, either creating the official Godspeed or resulting in his arrival from the future.
