The Flash/Supergirl Crossover: 12 Awesome Moments From 'Worlds Finest'

Yes, it was as awesome as we'd all hoped.

CBS
After a few months of waiting, the Flash and Supergirl crossover is finally here! No longer do fans have to wonder €œwhat if€€ or €œwouldn€™t it be cool€€ The Flash has accidentally landed in Kara Zor-El€™s world, and it made for some great television. In the episode, Kara finds herself attacked by Silver Banshee and rescued by the newly-arrived Scarlet Speedster. Quickly striking up a bond, the pair come together to help Barry get back to his own Earth whilst also tackling the combined might of supervillains Silver Banshee and Livewire, both of whom are on a mission to kill Kara Danvers and Cat Grant. Whether you€™re a Supergirl fan or not, this really was an awesomely fun episode, particularly if you€™ve got a soft spot for Grant Gustin€™s Sultan of Speed. From start to finish, this was the type of outing that will have regular comic book fans, or just fans of fun superhero shows, grinning from ear-to-ear. So, with that said, let€™s take a look at the 12 most awesome moments from the aptly titled Worlds Finest.

12. Cat Grant€™s Advice

CBS
Since Supergirl started last year, Cat Grant has arguably been the show€™s most enjoyable character, even more-so than the show€™s titular heroine. That€™s not meant as a dig at Kara, more just a testament to how great a job Calista Flockhart has done as the head of Cat Co. In one of the best moments of this episode €“ and one that didn€™t involve The Flash or technically even Supergirl €“ we saw Cat give some brilliant advice to Kara on the topic of her love life. Or was it cupcakes? Or maybe it was just lighthouses? Anyway, hearing Cat using cupcakes and lighthouses as reference points and examples on how Kara needs to handle the will they/won€™t they dynamic with James Olsen was a great start for Worlds Finest and it was one that firmly set the tone for what would go on to be a fantastic episode. After all, it doesn€™t get better than hearing Supergirl get advice on how to get Jimmy€™s €œship€ docked in her €œport€.
