Everyone needs some influence from an older person in their life, whether that be a down-on-his-luck yet still experienced businessman or a decades-long-spanning deity in charge of the afterlife. It's safe to say you could learn a lot from whichever one floats your boat.

Michael from The Good Place and Johnny Rose from Schitt's Creek are two characters who, on paper, shouldn't have all too much in common. One is a former CEO of a successful video rental chain, and the other helps guide people through their post-death lives in the titular Good Place - well, mostly.

Despite their differences, there are a lot of lines that can be drawn between the two. They're both caring, intelligent, good-dressers, willing to adapt to change and plenty more. Thanks to this, they've often spoken words of wisdom that seem eerily similar to each other, making it quite challenging to remember which of them actually said it.

But, if these shows have taught us anything, it's that you can't give up when the going gets tough. So, let's see how much of a fan you are of these beloved sitcom characters.
