The Arrowverse has spent the better part of the past decade dominating The CW, opening doors for a ton of talented performers and reminding the world that there is still very much a place for superheroes on television.

A franchise that began all the way back in 2012 with Arrow, it has evolved into a global phenomenon that is now comprised of shows like The Flash, Supergirl, Batwoman and DC's Legends of Tomorrow - with a sixth show (Superman & Lois) and a possible seventh (Green Arrow and The Canaries) in the pipeline - and has single-handedly reinvigorated its own genre.

There's no mistaking the level of appeal that the Arrowverse possesses. Through its various shows and unique crossovers, it has introduced some of DC Comics' most famous - and some of its lesser-known - heroes to a whole new audience.
