The Hardest Grimm Quiz On The Internet

It's time to head to the trailer and brush up on your Wesen lore, Grimm fans.

NBC

Do you know your Fuchsbau from your Hexenbiests? Don't worry, because even the most ardent Grimm needs to consult their ancestors' diaries from time to time.

Running for six seasons between 2011 and 2017, this fantasy police procedural inspired by the folktales of the Brothers Grimm, served up no shortage of monsters - or Wesen.

When Nick Burkhardt discovered the truth of his lineage, life became a never-ending barrage of monsters, political machinations, love and betrayal, death and resurrection (remember that time he turned into a zombie?).

It was a crazy journey for this underrated gem that kept Portland weird, but if you're here then chances are you think you know your stuff. But as Nick knows all too well, there's no shame in asking a clockmaker for help now and then.

With so much lore crammed into every episode, drawing inspiration not only from the Brothers Grimm, but numerous other mythologies and even real people (ahem, Jack the Ripper anyone?), you could be forgiven for forgetting a few details. So brush up on your German, head down to the trailer and do a little light reading, because it's time to sort the Kehrseites from the Kehrseite-Schlich-Kennen.
