The Last Man On Earth Season Finale: 10 Big Questions That Need Answering

The apocalypse has a surprising amount of drama.

The Last Man On Earth has provided some of the most unique elements to the over saturated genre of apocalyptic television. For starters, it's a comedy on network television. Humor and a surprising lack of violence after nearly every human on Earth has died from a mystery virus might seem like a hard sell, but it works magnificently.

Phil Miller, played by the creative Will Forte, has gone through many ups and downs in this first year. From his constant desire to mate with everyone but his wife to the adding insecurities he feels after the addition of every new male, he's dealt with a lot.

Tandy (Phil Miller's new name later in the first season) has been on an entertaining journey, so much so that the people at the Fox network have renewed the show for another year.

So now that the series is officially headed into its second season there are many questions still on the minds of viewers. From Phil's very alive brother to his exile with Carol, where does the show go from here?

It should be noted that in addition to the few spoilers revealed so far, there are many more spoilers from here on. Go watch the finale beforehand if catching up is needed.

The following ten questions will address the issues that most need addressed in the second season of the show...

10. Will The Tucson Residents Want New Phil To Stay?

The original Phil Miller, known as Tandy later in the season, almost left Todd for dead in the desert. He didn't follow through with it but came really close.

Now that new Phil Miller has claimed the affections of all the women and sole rights to his name, Tandy and Todd plot to kill him.

All this murder talk gets found out and Tandy is asked to self-exile himself. Tandy refuses and after a few days is welcomed back to the group by everyone...except the new Phil.

New Phil forcefully drives Tandy out in the desert and pretty much leaves him left for dead. He gives him two days of food but Tandy devours it in 20 minutes. He truly is left for dead at this point.

So what happens when new Phil returns to Tucson? Tandy was asked to leave the group for plotting to drop people off in the middle of the desert but new Phil actually did it. Surely he won't be welcomed back with open arms, will he?
