6. What Happened in the Last 70 Years?

Many fans want to know what happened in the time between the two series. We know a little bit; Aang and Zuko founded Republic City, Sokka sat on the council, Toph became chief of police. So what else happened? There must have been a long period of reconstruction after the Hundred Years War; what happened then? And will we find out more about the Aang Gang's adult lives? And seriously, what happened to Zuko's mom?
