In the second-to-last episode of the season, Deborah Chow returns to the director's chair and once again delivers a slam dunk.

This episode has just about everything you could possibly want from The Mandalorian; great Baby Yoda gags (see: Baby Yoda nearly crashing the ship), great action (see: the fireside shootout with Mynocks), and the payoff of seeing returning characters all coming together and interacting with one another.

This episode also earns a special place all its own for giving Werner Herzog his juiciest dialogue of the season, as he absolutely chews the scenery while waxing philosophical about the state of the post-Empire galaxy. As if that wasn't enough, it also features him giving the instantly all-timer line delivery of "we will be very quiet".

By the time Moff Gideon is introduced and guns down the entirety of Herzog's crew, cornering our heroes and kidnapping Baby Yoda, the episode has worked its way up to classic territory.
