As you might expect, Din Djarin is shocked and angered when the trio of Mandalorians remove their helmets in front of him, and demands to know where they got their armour from. He believes they must have stolen it because no true Mandalorian would show their face, right?

Bo-Katan Kryze suddenly realises that Din is a "Child of the Watch," a group she describes as being a "cult of religious zealots" whose goal was "to re-establish the ancient way."

While the one-time ruler of Mandalore claims she can point the bounty hunter in the direction of a Jedi, he clearly doesn't feel that these are real Mandalorians and blasts off with The Child in tow. Fans have been wondering for a while now why DIn is so against removing his helmet when his people have been shown doing that on countless occasions, and the series has now provided an answer.

Bo-Katan and her followers destroy the ship they rescued Din from as he watches from afar and decides to continue his mission without their assistance.
