The Mandalorian Season 2: Every Rumoured And Confirmed Character So Far

Now, this one was pretty obvious, but the inevitable return of the show's eponymous character (portrayed by Pedro Pascal) is still worth a mention.

After spending the majority of the first season hidden behind the sleek Mandalorian armour (that "is the way", after all), audiences caught a glimpse of the man behind the mask, Din Djarin, in the series finale.

While Mando's cool anonymity became a selling point of the show, essentially a Star Wars take on a Spaghetti Western antihero, it seems likely that Season Two will explore more of the titular gunslinger's backstory.

We already know he was a "foundling" rather than a native Mandalorian, raised by soldiers and initiated into the culture of the creed after his parents were killed by B2 Super Battle Droids, but there is so much more history of the character to explore without ruining his mystique. Did Din ever question his place in the creed? His run-ins with his fellow Mandalorians and apparent desire for a regular family life seem to suggest so.

Here's hoping we'll see a bit more man and a bit less mask in the show's second season...
