Carl Weathers' Greef Karga was last seen on the lava fields of Nevarro at the end of the first season of The Mandalorian. While the Bounter Hunter's Guild agent and Mando's farewell seemed rather final, Greef was a pivotal character in the show, with a strong arc of his own.

After helping The Mandalorian escape Moff Gideons' men, it seemed that Greef had something of a change of heart about the role he plays in the galaxy. After undergoing such weighty development, it seems unlikely that Greef will be unceremoniously erased from the future of the show.
