The OA Season 2: 12 Huge Questions That Must Be Answered

3. If Prairie's Story Is A Lie, What Really Happened To Her?

One of the biggest reasons to believe Prairie's story is because some of what happens is pure fact. We know for certain that she went missing seven years ago, that she played a violin in a subway station, that she has scars on her back, the fact she was adopted from someone with links to Russia, and - the biggie - that she miraculously regained her sight.

Those things aren't made up, and aren't in question. But let's say that, as many believe, the yarn she spins is entirely made up outside of the hard evidence. Hap, the fellow captives, the experiments, the movements - none of that happened.

If that is the case, what on Earth did happen during her seven years missing, what are those scars, and just how did she get her sight back?
