The Office Cast: Where Are They Now?

7. Ed Helms

Season three of The Office added Andy Bernard, a blue blooded blowhard who eventually mellows to become part of the Scranton family (before changing personality three or four more times). Comedy veteran Ed Helms fit right into the ensemble, even though he was asked to stretch his character to breaking point at times.

Helms seemed to be on the fast track to Hollywood big time for a while, and though he’s never reached the heights some thought he would, he has certainly carved out a solid career. He capped off the Hangover trilogy in 2013, then starred in perfectly alright comedies We’re The Millers and Vacation.

He has continued to headline or co-headline slightly less successful comedies, like true story Tag, survival comedy Corporate Animals, and ensemble comedy Father Figures with Owen Wilson and Glenn Close.

Helms helped usher raucous new Australian sketch show Aunty Donna's Big Ol' House of Fun to Netflix, and will make his major TV return next year with Rutherford Falls. Co-created with Office writer Michael Schur, this is a timely comedy about the removal of controversial statues.
