The Office: Every Christmas Episode Ranked From Worst To Best

1. Classy Christmas

It'd be lying to say that Michael Scott's departure from the show left a void that could have been filled. So, when season 7 came around we knew he was leaving, it was just how he left that was to be decided.

Classy Christmas was the answer to that. When Toby is selected for jury duty his position is to be filled by Holly Flax, Michael's one true love. He is overjoyed to learn that she is coming back and turns the traditional Christmas party into some kind of Hugh Hefner, James Bond affair.

Of course, Holly is still maintaining her relationship with AJ, the news of which sends Michael into a depression and he confronts Holly about it in front of the whole office. Which is a touching moment in a way, as when Holly attempts to go after him when he leaves, Erin stands in her way and the rest of the office stands up for Michael.

The other plotlines of the episode follow Darryl trying to impress his daughter with their Christmas party, which involves Pam getting Andy to play the Grinch, only for Andy to ruin it moments later. As well as Jim and Pam's deal that their presents to one another being strictly handmade, which Jim reneges on, whilst Pam makes him into a comic book character called Bear Man.

Though the major second storyline follows Dwight finally getting the better of Jim decisively. When Jim challenges Dwight to a snowball fight he soon finds out that Dwight is a master of the art and proceeds to torture Jim with snow for the rest of the day.

The secondary stories are brilliantly funny, however, this one is all about Michael Scott and Holly. You knew that as soon as she walked in the door that they would be leaving together somehow and it was going to be Michael's dream ending. For that Classy Christmas earns the top spot.
