The Office is arguably the greatest comedy in the history of television. As such, it goes with the territory that the mockumentary has featured some of the more prominent guest star spots ever seen in any television series, let alone a show centred around the day to day life of a fictional paper company.

The Office has seen the creme de la creme of guest stars filter in and out through the doors of the Scranton office over the years. Academy Award nominees, icons of the comedic genre and even lesser known stars at the time who later went on to become mainstream breakouts, have found themselves face to face with Michael's more offensive in-office characters (looking at you Ping and Michael Klump) or gazing into the camera with dead-eyed despair as Dwight's latest debacle unfolds in the background.
