From the very beginning of The Office we realise that salesman Jim Halpert has eyes for only one person; Pam Beesley.

With a desk that faces reception, Jim spends the majority of his time at work hanging out with Pam. Even though his dream woman is engaged to someone else, Jim's secret love for her never really goes away.

After telling her his true feelings at Casino Night, Jim decides that it's just too difficult being so close to her and leaves for Stanford. Of course as fate would have it, this is when Pam begins to realise that perhaps Jim is the right guy after all.

It began to look like the pair would never end up together. Jim seemed happy with new girlfriend Karen, whilst Pam decided to give Roy another chance. It wouldn't take long before Jim would choose Pam over Karen and the couple would finally get together.

Things looked rocky for a while a few years later for the pair. Jim's dream job working in sports marketing almost tore their family apart, but once again Jim knew the only choice for him was Pam and the kids over everything else.

It turned out that Jim owed everything good in his life to his time at Dunder Mifflin.
