Steve Carell’s line delivery really made Michael Scott what he was. Through the course of his arc in the show we saw him go from a hapless manager who just wanted to be loved by his employees, to a manager who in his own way gained the respect of others and truly found love returned in the unlikeliest of places, with HR rep Holly Flax. The Office never recovered from his departure and if you're anything like me you only re-watch the show up to the point he departs and then start all over again.
