Whilst the future seasons became more original, the pilot was an 'Americanised' version of the UK's pilot. As time went on, The Office has rocketed in fandom, debatably surpassing the UK equivalent. Whilst the show has gone through the odd rough patch and every fan has their own opinion, The Office should still be celebrated as a comedy with a true heart at its centre.
The Office pilot introduced us to the workers of Dunder Mifflin Scranton, and across the show we have fallen in love with the various characters as we have watched them grow. Michael, Dwight, Jim, Pam and every other character in The Office are loved by someone, for making us laugh and smile through their daily lives.
