Over the course of its nine seasons, Dunder Mifflin Scranton's receptionist, Pamela Beesly becomes one of the Office's most beloved characters, portrayed perfectly by Jenna Fischer. Pam is present throughout the series, and is part of some of the shows most iconic moments, such as saying goodbye to Michael at the airport.
Personally, the greatest part of The Office is seeing the love and growth of Pam and her will-they-won't-they with salesman Jim Halpert. Say what you will about the quality of all nine seasons of the show, but Jim and Pam's character arc is truly heart-warming. From being Dunder Mifflin's receptionist dating warehouse guy Roy, to gaining her confidence, becoming a saleswoman and her relationship with Jim.
Whilst the believability of Pam and Jim's relationship is largely down to Jenna Fischer and John Krasinski's chemistry, the shows writing perfectly encapsulates two best friends who clearly love each other.
The Office would not be what it is without its amazing cast of characters portraying Dunder Mifflin's group of co-workers, but Pam is definitely at the heart of that.
