Despite The Vampire Diaries ending after eight seasons, there are many spin-offs which came after it to keep the supernatural juices flowing.

The Originals, which in fact started just before The Vampire Diaries ended, followed the story of the very first vampires in existence, the Mikaelsons. At the head of the family was Klaus, who always made decisions on how he was feeling at that specific moment in time, whether good or bad. He had a complicated life but family meant everything to him and he would do anything to keep them safe.

Anyone who was a fan of The Vampire Diaries has no doubt seen every single of episode of both that and The Originals, but what we want to know is just how closely were you paying attention? We all know the Mikaelson family and their close enemies, but what about those who we only got to see maybe once or twice throughout the show's five seasons?
