Deep down, they love one another more than their cold-blooded hearts would allow them to admit.

Surrounded by all the chaos, the characters manage to win the hearts of their fans. Despite their cruelty, the fans still dreamed that the Mikaelson family would exist always and forever. Nevertheless, every character grew immensely throughout the show. Some of that change can be seen in their first and final lines.
