4. Krusty The Clown

KrustyVoiced By: Dan Castellaneta Emmy Winning Episodes: "Today I Am A Clown" Send out the clown. Chances Of Dying? Al Jean might well recognise that the clown has picked up two Emmys for the show creators - once in "Today I Am A Clown" and once for Jackie Mason in "Like Father, Like Clown," but is there really any need for a full-time clown in Springfield? Krusty's show is painfully outdated, with few parallels in the real world of children's TV, and he serves very little purpose in the main Springfield universe, despite how important he has been to Bart's formative years. It would be interesting to see how Bart would deal with the death of his hero, especially if the writers brought back Sideshow Bob for one big murder mystery episode (like the Family Guy event that saw the deaths of Muriel Goldman, Dianne Simmons, Derek Wilcox, Priscilla and Stephanie - as well, briefly, as James Woods) or an action-lead episode that borrows the same sort of grand staging as "And Then There Were Fewer." How He Should Die Sideshow Bob's final act of vengeance, having pretended to be reconciled with his former tormentor for so long.
