7. Jesus Died For What?
Episode: Pray Anything - S14, E10 See, the Simpsons post season 8 isnt all bad. Pray Anything was helmed by Al Jean, and with a chalkboard gag as good as SpongeBob is not a contraceptive, hopes were high. After Ned wins $50,000 for sinking a half-court shot at a WNBA game, and subsequently donating his winnings to Bibles for Belgians, Homer decides that Flanders success is down to praying. It works! And after finding the remote, Monkey Olympics and bacon fudge, Homer sues the church after falling in a hole reserved for a nativity scene, and ultimately receives the parish. Much hilarity ensues, (who doesnt like to see Homer playing air guitar with the cross?) but its this moment in said hole that arguably provides the biggest laugh of the episode Jesus died for this?!
