The Simpsons: 10 One-Off Characters Voiced By Hank Azaria

3. Dean Bobby Peterson

Appearance: "Homer Goes To College," Season 5. Former bassist for The Pretenders, Dean Peterson- but you can call him Bobby- is a laid back, popular dean at Springfield University. Homer, inspired by college movies featuring "crusty old Dean Bitterman," automatically treats Dean Peterson as his enemy, pranking him with phone calls ("Hello, Dean? You are a stupid head!") and plans to "roll him up in a blanket and throw him off a bridge!" Because of one of Homer's pranks- kidnapping Springfield A&M's pig mascot- Dean Peterson regretfully has to suspend three students- Gary, Doug, and Benjamin- who were only trying to tutor Homer. Funniest Moment: After Homer runs over Dean Peterson with his car, the two make up, with Bobby admitting he may have been a bit of a monster, too. In the end credits montage, Homer and Dean Patterson are shown working together to prank former U.S. President Richard Nixon with a "bra bomb."
