Episode: Various You could be forgiven for not knowing Frank Welker's name, but it's almost a guarantee that you'll have heard his voice somewhere. He's Fred Jones in new episodes of Scooby Doo as well as the loveable mutt himself. He's Nibbler and various animals from The Simpsons' cartoon cousin, Futurama, Megatron from Transformers, and even the dragon from Shrek. But in The Simpsons world, his credits include: Santa's Little Helper, Snowball II, Santa's Little Helper's girlfriend (She's The Fastest), the greyhound puppies, the Halloween special killer dolphins and the gremlin, Princess the horse, Laddie, Flanders' pet woodpecker, and even the badger that mauls Homer in A Tale Of Two Springfields. Welker is one of many unsung heroes from behind the scenes of The Simpsons, and just one of the many guest stars that make the show so special. They don't necessarily need to bring in the stars, but part of the sustained success of The Simpsons is down to the producers insistence on using the best talent for every role, no matter how minor.
