Speaking of the relationship between Itchy and Scratchy, if Scratchy needs Itchy to satisfy his pain fix, then this next short on our list shows us that Itchy needs Scratchy just as much.
After Scratchy has died (presumably by Itchy's own hand), Itchy becomes a depressed alcoholic, reminiscing about the good old days of maiming and murdering his friend. But inspiration strikes him and Itchy invents a cloning machine - killing each Scratchy clone as they come out. Soon, he gets tired of doing so by hand and so builds a killing machine that links directly to the cloning one. Oh, that crazy mouse!
