Complete with the Tickle Me Krusty doll ("Hey kid, get your finger out of there!"), season 9'S Miracle On Evergreen Terrace is a true Simpsons Christmas classic. In it, Bart gets into his Christmas presents early, with one being a pretty snazzy fire truck which, ironically, winds up starting a fire, wrecking the family tree and destroying the family's presents. Bart blames it all on a burglar (giving a stereotypical description of a thief in a striped shirt, black mask, and sack with a dollar sign on it), and the citizens of Springfield wind up donating their hard earned money to help the family get their Christmas back. However, when melting snow uncovers the evidence of the mangled presents that Bart had tried to hide, the town discovers that they've been had, and the Simpsons are once again pariahs in Springfield. In the end, all is forgiven - when the townsfolk loot the family homestead. Best episode ever? Okay maybe not, but arguably the best Christmas episode. How would you rank these Christmas tales? Any others you would include?
