The Simpsons Or Futurama Quiz: Who Said It - Bart Or Fry?

Matt Groening really knows how to make an iconic cartoon character.

The annals of TV history are littered with iconic cartoon characters - Bugs Bunny, Tom and Jerry, Popeye and plenty more have proven you can make a real name for yourself even without a third dimension. But, among the never-ending sea of classic characters come two unexpected figures, those being Bart Simpson and Philip J. Fry.

Bart needs no introduction - he's a merchandising powerhouse, the voice of an anti-establishment generation and a hilarious character in his own right. Then, there's Fry, the less popular but still as loveable, likeable and hilarious delivery boy who acted as Futurama's goofball leading character.

Both of these characters do a fantastic job of making audiences laugh, often with their lacklustre intelligence and self-confidence. However, although they're cut from somewhat of the same cloth, they are very different. Hell, one is a rebellious kid, and the other is a twenty-something (ignoring the time travel) loser.

Despite their differences, you might have trouble discerning between them. Their comedy styles were somewhat similar, and the witty writing shared between The Simpsons and Futurama certainly has a firm tone. So, let's see how well you know these Groening creations.
