For over 30 years, The Simpsons has been a great source of entertainment for millions of fans all over the world. Whether you love to watch Bart getting into all sorts of trouble or Homer be absolutely dreadful and dangerous at his job at the Nuclear Power Plant, there's never a dull moment in the town of Springfield. And two characters who are always a laugh a minute are the older sisters of Marge, Patty and Selma Bouvier.

Patty and Selma are identical twins and both have a strong dislike for their sister's husband, Homer. They are very rarely seen apart and never have a good word to say about their brother-in-law. They even tried to break-up their marriage and thought that Marge's former boyfriend, Artie Ziff was a much better fit for her.

Despite the many similarities between Patty and Selma, Patty is much more unpleasant than her sister and shows very little empathy towards anyone or anything. However, when Homer suffered a heart-attack, she show concern, albeit very little. She does have a heart!
