The epic tale that is The Lord Of The Rings has finally come to its somewhat extended conclusion. Light has broken through the darkness and banished it for good, leaving the free people of Middle Earth to live out their lives in peace. Hard to believe that it was only a six month adventure!
The theme of fellowship and loyalty to your friends has remained strong from the very beginning, right up to the end as we watch Sam carrying Frodo up the slopes of Amon Amarth (Mount Doom). Pretty much the entirety of the fellowship that left Rivendell together did not have to get involved, yet chose to put the needs of each other before themselves repeatedly and forged bonds that are closer than blood.
