8. A 'Happy' Ending For Hazel

Given how much is still unknown, it's difficult to know if this will be a lasting happy ending for Hazel. As it stands, though, it's at least a bit of a one. He manages to get away from Cha-Cha without having to kill her. He's free from the Commission. And he's escaped the apocalypse with the woman he loves, Agnes.

It's unclear where or when they'll go, and you suspect that Hazel's part in this story isn't done. He's too good a character, not to mention it's later in the comics when he comes into it. To that degree, it feels likely we'll see him working with The Umbrella Academy at some point. For now, though, he and Agnes are the only ones to come out of this story with anything close to a happy ending, and it's hard to begrudge them it.
