The CW has always had a good roster of shows. From fan-favourite superhero shows like Smallville, The Flash and Arrow to teenage dramas like The OC, Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill, we are spoilt for choice. But for the past few decades, The CW has given some of the finest supernatural TV dramas. The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural definitely come to mind.

Both shows are highly regarded for keeping the audience on the edge of their seats the whole time. The Winchester brothers started their on-screen trip of saving the world back in September, 2006. The guys dazzled the audience with their background story, commitment to each other, leather jackets and, of course, plaid long-sleeved shirts.

Then, another binge-worthy fantasy showed up on September 10, 2009, stirring things up. The Salvatore brothers were as popular as the Men of Letters, with the supernatural world of Mystic Falls and their mutual love for an ordinary human being.

In fact, the two shows had so much in common that the fantasy genre addicts were hoping for them to crossover, which sadly never happened. The question is, can you tell these two shows apart by their two fan-favourite characters?
