Season one of The Vampire Diaries first aired on The CW network in September 2009. Yes, it's been over thirteen years since we were first introduced to Elena Gilbert and the dashing Salvatore brothers.

Set in the fictional town of Mystic Falls, Elena's life was turned upside down when she fell in love with the mysteriously handsome vampire, Stefan Salvatore. Shortly after her arrival, his equally handsome vampire brother, Damon Salvatore, showed up and threw a massive spanner in the works. This created one of the biggest love stories in television history.

After 8 seasons and a whopping 171 episodes, it's fair to say that there was a lot of vampire knowledge to intake. The question we are asking fans today is, just how good is your TVD memory?
