The Vampire Diaries is a show that fans will remember five, ten, even fifteen years from now. With incredible characters and fascinating storylines, it's hard not to become so invested in this supernatural show.
The shows main focus was on Elena Gilbert, a teenager who sadly lost both her parents in a tragic accident. She moved to the town of Mystic Falls with her troubled younger brother to live with their aunt. Here, she met the infamous Salvatore brothers, Damon and Stefan. The both instantly had a huge impact on Elena's life, both for the good and the bad. However, her best friend Bonnie Bennett was always their to support her whenever she found herself at a crossroads.
Like all friendships, they did have many ups and downs, even to the point of nearly killing each other, but thankfully that didn't last too long!
