The Vampire Diaries sadly came to an end in March of 2017. After 8 incredible seasons and over 170 episodes, we had to say our final goodbyes to the dashing Salvatore brothers and the other residents of Mystic Falls. This was hard for every fan of the show.
One character who left well before the final seasons however was the beautiful and caring Elena Gilbert. Fans were beyond gutted when they heard the news that she was leaving.
