Caroline Forbes was one of the main female characters on the ever so popular teen drama, The Vampire Diaries.
Caroline attended Mystic Falls High School where she was the captain of the cheerleading squad and honour student. She was one of the more popular girls in school and loved to organise parties for the school and her friends. But, despite having a confident exterior, Caroline often felt very insecure. When it came to best friend Elena, Caroline felt was was always hiding in her shadow.
However this all changed when Caroline was turned into a vampire. She began to see the world in a different light. She matured and became much more responsible and protective. She definitely became an expert in self-control.
Whilst the show often reminds fans of the Twilight saga, it's fair to say that the Vampire Diaries had a lot more to offer. The storylines and characters that emerged from the show were a lot more absorbing and exciting.
