The Vampire Diaries is one of the most popular shows to come from the CW network. The characters are some of the most interesting characters you'll ever find on television. Even four years later, we are still so much in love with Elena Gilbert and the Salvatore brothers. Two other characters that we just can't get enough is Caroline Forbes and Rebekah Mikaelson.
Originally, these two hated each other. Caroline didn't like Rebekah because she was Klaus' vampire sister. Their personalities were so much alike that this often caused them to clash with one another.
Rebekah left Mystic Falls to follow her siblings to New Orleans while Caroline stayed to raise her family. Fifteen years later, their paths crossed again in spin-off series, The Originals.
