The Walking Dead: 10 Awesome Comic Book Characters Who Need To Appear
6. The Hilltop Colony
The Hilltop Colony is a group of survivors in Virginia, and has more residents than any other community in The Walking Dead, with over 200 people living there. It's originally led by Gregory, a cowardly and self-important man. There are a number of characters from the Colony who would work well on the show. Aside from Gregory, the likes of Kal, a guard who at one point looks set to be a traitor; Earl, a blacksmith who makes weapons; and Ethan, who is sent to meet with Negan, and returns and stabs Gregory, would all be great to see. It also plays an important part in All Out War, while it'd be interesting to see a community of its size on the show. Later in the series it is taken over by Maggie, who defects from Rick's group, and that more prominent role for her would be a really great development for her character.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
