The Walking Dead: 10 Best Villains From The TV Show
10. Dawn & Grady Memorial Hospital
Dawn was an excellent example of how assuming a leadership role in The Walking Dead can warp someones mind-set and rid them of all morality, as long as the overall safety of the group is maintained. She seemed more concerned with keeping the shelter of Grady Memorial Hospital intact than she was with keeping the people there alive. Whats more is that a good portion of the people rescued by Dawns employees were actually taken against their will, and were forbidden from leaving until their debts had been repaid. This alone created a false sense of security for anyone living there, as nobody could possibly believe that forcing innocent survivors to work for them, in some cases even after killing members of their crew, was a healthy way to weather the storm of the apocalypse. In the end, however, Dawns death still came as a shock. It was really Beths fault for letting her aggression get the better of her, because until she stabbed Dawn, and subsequently got shot out of instinct, it hadnt seemed like things would get violent. Sure, she did order Noah to stay, but that was stubbornness more than anything else. She looked genuinely horrified when she pulled the trigger, and realised as Daryl pointed his gun at her head that her days were numbered, so as bad as Dawn was, her final moments werent necessarily all that terrifying.
