1. The Death Of Glenn
This was arguably the most pivotal moment in the comics. Negan makes his first appearance, and he means business. With Rick helpless and Negan needing to assert his authority, a massive moment occurs. Glenn is killed. Killed is putting it lightly. He is destroyed. Pounded into the ground with Negan's baseball bat. Nothing is left of his face. It's gory and horrible to look at in the comic. Without a doubt one of the most emotional moments for the comic's 100 issue run. Everyone is completely helpless when it comes to saving Glenn. This moment is needed to give the Negan situation the gravitas it deserves. Glenn is a fan favourite and one of a few characters to really make a good transition to the TV series. In theory this moment would be a long way off, but you can be sure that as soon as Negan is introduced, I'm going to be getting ready to say goodbye to Glenn. It's a horribly tragic moment and would arguably carry more weight than the death of Laurie. It's a time of extremely dismal hope for Rick and the rest of the survivors and is yet another indication that no one is safe. So that's my rundown of what I'd like to see in The Walking Dead going forward. Who knows, some of these may even sneak into
the spin-off recently announced. Let me know in the comments section below which of your favourite moments you'd like to see get into the TV series.
