The Walking Dead: 10 Deleted Scenes You Need To See

4. Carl And Beth In Jail

Carl was an irritant for a long spell, but now he's matured and developing into a fully functioning member of the survivors' group. One of his most stunning moments in the series was the death of his mother, and it proved to be the catalyst for him growing up quickly. He had to become responsible for himself and baby Judith.

Here Carl's talking with another character who had plenty of critics, Beth. They discuss the logistics of killing a walker, or a corpse before it reanimates. What happens to the soul? Is there a Heaven? When is a person really dead? It's a slow, sad scene, but it's a necessary one that asks thoughtful questions they wouldn't have been alone in asking. It should have made the final cut.
