The Walking Dead: 10 Major Predictions For The Rest Of Season 6
4. Michonne Will Become More Of A Leader
Deanna, Alexandria's leader (at least before Rick arrived on the scene), was the big casualty of the mid-season finale, being bitten by a walker, but still managing to go out on her own terms. Interestingly, though, while she fully supports Rick, it's Michonne she spends her final moments with. The two hadn't seemed particularly close before then, so there has to be a more significant reason why it was the katana-wielding badass chosen to be by Deanna's deathbed. Michonne has been a solid character on the show since her introduction, but perhaps never quite matched the hype that followed her arrival in the Season 2 finale. This, then, could be a sign of that happening. With Deanna gone, a new leadership figure is needed alongside Rick, and it seems Michonne has Deanna's vote. She's more than shown she can handle herself, knows how to address a variety of situations, and has Rick's trust. She's got my vote too.

A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
