The Walking Dead: 10 Most Badass Rick Grimes Moments
1. He's A Biter
Confronted by Joe, the leader of the Claimers, Rick is beaten down but not broken. Desperate to do something, anything, to save his family and friends Rick goes on the offensive with the only weapon left at his disposal... his jaw! Rick bites deep into Joe's neck and rips a large chunk of flesh (and presumably part of a jugular vein) out of his attackers throat, spitting it to the ground.
In the apocalypse it's important to use all the tools available to you to survive. And in this instance Rick goes beyond the realm of expectation in his quest for survival. To not only think of, but execute a lethal chomp to the neck takes serious balls. And let's not forget, he essentially gutted another Claimers member in the aftermath of 'the bite.'
A lesson many have learned, but few have lived to tell the tale. Don't mess with Rick Grimes.
