The Walking Dead: 10 Most Satisfying Deaths

8. Jody

Who, you ask? Though Jody only appeared in one episode, this member of The Governor€™s army made a big impact into the world of a few characters. Ambushed by Carl, Hershel, and Beth as he was trying to flee the prison, Jody had little choice but to surrender. As he slowly walked forward, allegedly handing his gun over, Carl promptly shot him, claiming it was for the safety of the group. Though Hershel through a fit about it, it became clear that Carl was the only one really paying attention to how things were going. After his earlier inaction had directly lead to Dale€™s death, and the inability to kill Andrew resulted in his mother dying for the same reason, Carl decided that precautionary measures needed to be taken. Despite Jody being such an insignificant character, his death marked a huge maturing for Carl. It also helped convey the general feeling amongst many characters that it was better to be safe than sorry in regards to other humans going forward.
