The Walking Dead: 12 Things We Want To See In Season 6
2. A Possible Reintroduction Of The 'Ricktatorship'
Speaking of challenging the status quo, Rick has always been one drawn to the limelight. He thinks he knows best, and that the majority of people around him are stupid, and so democracy just won't work. As far as the show goes, he's been right almost every time on this count.
Deanna's democracy nearly got Rick killed, and it did result in Reg's accidental death and, subsequently, Pete's.
The Walking Dead doesn't necessarily need another Ricktatorship, but it needs a single authority dishing out the orders. If it's Deanna in charge, she needs to get tough, and it's possible that Rick may end up not as a dictator, nor even a police officer or sheriff, but as Deanna's personal hitman. It'd be an interesting new dynamic, and a new challenge for Rick to sink his teeth into, before proving he can't follow orders and will do his own thing anyway - inevitably leading to a bust up with Deanna.
Whatever the situation, the power struggles at the beginning of the season are going to be tense, full of intrigue and deception, and that's exactly what we want from Season 6.
