12. Scott Ian Cameo
The opportunity for hidden cameos in zombie shows and movies is a major one, thanks to the disguise offered by heavy make-up. The Walking Dead show itself features a number of semi-famous cameos, including X-Men: First Class stuntman Max Calder, The Hunger Games' Amber Chaney and Dian Bachar, of BASEketball fame, and the list of celebrities who have either been asked or have reportedly asked to be in the show as walkers is longer still, featuring Stan Lee, Charlie Sheen and Christina Hendricks. Quite how many of those rumours are true, remains to be confirmed. The most famous of all the famous geek cameos has a more musical flavour, as Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian lived up to his hardcore reputation by enduring the presumably tedious make-up ordeal for the Walking Dead webisodes. Ian is a self-confessed horror nut, with a particularly attraction to the zombie genre, and described his experience as his "Make-A-Wish" moment.
