10. Scott Ian's Cameo

The show has had its fair share of celebrity cameos, and it seems a certain kind of star is lining up to play a walker including Anthrax legend Scott Ian, who died at the end of Episode 12 on the end of a big pointy stick wielded by Carl. The dream was four years in the making, as he originally appeared in a webisode back in 2011, with slightly less gruesome make-up. This time he was in full rotting mode for his surprise assault on Grimes from under a pile of garbage. In a symbolic "passing the torch" moment, Rick passed his son the kill-stick before the adolescent whinger slammed it through the thrash metal God's skull.
