1. A TANK!
This list would be incomplete if I didn't include a military tank! The ultimate method of transportation. They're slow, but incredible. They hold a fair amount of fuel and you have some space in the metal beast for again, supplies and people. Unfortunately though, a tank wouldn't be totally ideal for travelling around because of its speed and size, but it'll do you a job and tanks are just awesome! You don't need to do anything to reinforce a tank. Walkers cannot get in and you can blow them to smithereens with the launchers and if you're feeling brave you can pop through the top and fire off some rounds. You'll crush and destroy all the undead who get in your way! Bad news.. Unless you're Rick Grimes there won't be a tank just sitting there before some stupidly brave kid comes to save you. You won't come across very many tanks. If you come across a military depot - Sure! Otherwise your chances are slim. You may come across one or two in some big cities if the military tried to fight back and failed (As seen in every single zombie film and tv show).
