How It Happened: Thinking they had outsmarted Rick's group and drawn their fighters away, the Hunters entered Gabriel's church to prey upon those who had been left behind. Instead, the vengeful cannibals walked straight into a trap Rick's group had set for them and were summarily slaughtered by Rick, Abraham, Sasha, and Michonne while everyone else watched.

Why It Was Great: Gareth and his merry, arrogant band of cannibals are another example on this list of those who deserved what was coming to them, and watching them get the rug pulled out from under them ended the Terminus arc on a perfect high note.
